I’m Tony Payne, Founder & Consultant with Talent Expert, a consultancy with a difference. We like small. 

 

We focus on providing primarily Talent Acquisition services to small businesses, especially those without their own Talent Acquisition team.

We are not an Agency and only work as an embedded part of your company. That means we appear as part of your own team for as long as you like. But, we only charge for specific events like when we hire someone or when we deliver a new tool or training.

We even hire and train your first internal talent team once you're ready for one.​

My recruitment career started out very consulting-focused, delivering internationally for over ten years to companies including SAP, Accenture, IBM and Deloitte amongst others.

 

After the global financial problems of 2009, I refocused on the tech Start-up world. My teams made the first European-based hires at startups including eBay, Atlassian, TomTom, Booking, Groupon and Uber. Companies that really did go on to change the world.

I've worked internally for tech Startups in roles such as Tech Talent Lead, Head of Talent & People and Chief People Officer and been responsible for over 1000 hires.
